Read What Others Are Saying

“Marvin L. Storm’s book, Transitioning from Employee to
Entrepreneur – A Road Map for Aspiring Entrepreneurs , is an excellent
crash course through Entrepreneurship 101 and 102 and in a
very easy-to-read form. It is not only informative but is also quite
motivational. If the reader is unsure whether to start a business, this
provides the thought process to make an informed decision.”

The Millionaire Next Door

In their best selling book, The Millionaire
Next Door, Thomas J. Stanley and William
D. Danko claim that 80% of America’s
millionaires are first-generation rich. They
are independent businessmen. Such a
person owns a small factory, a chain of
stores, or a service company. He lives
next door to people with a fraction of his
wealth. He has made his money, not as
an employee, but as an entrepreneur.

Are you the next millionaire?

Timing is Everything

Is it Time for Your Transition?

Is it Time

It is often said….timing in life is everything. If you can buy low
and sell high, you can retire. The question is, “When is a high the
high and when is a low the low.” It is all about timing.

A while ago I was talking to a friend who began his career in the
banking industry right out of college. He was loyal, hard working,
giving 110% of his creativity and soul to his employer. After 10 years
with the bank, he had been promoted to upper middle management. His
future prospects looked good. He remembers well the day all of that
changed.

Rumors were circulating in the office about the possible merger with
a competitor bank. The rumors turned out to be well founded. He was
downsized. In a few short months, he went from what seemed to be a
promising career in banking to an unsettling series of employment
interviews with other financial institutions. Read More Here…

About Marvin L. Storm

Author of Transitioning From Employee to Entrepreneur

Marvin L. Storm

Marvin L Storm
is a nationally
recognized entrepreneur and franchise expert, with more than 25 years
of experience in all aspects of entrepreneurship and franchising. His
career began after he earned his B.S. in accounting and began his
career with a national accounting firm.

Developing a growing interest in entrepreneurship,
he founded a medical equipment leasing company and through his leasing
affiliations became familiar with the benefits of the franchising
business model.

After several years of research, he became a unit franchisee for The
Packaging Store, a specialty packaging and shipping franchise. Marvin
parlayed his successful management methods into a multi-unit franchisee
position, expanding that position to become a regional franchisee.

More recently, Marvin founded a franchise management and marketing company, Blackstone Hathaway Corporation,
which serves as an area and regional franchise marketing and management
firm for multiple franchise concepts. Blackstone Hathaway has awarded
and managed more than 100 franchise areas in four different franchise
concepts in California and Nevada.
